The Invisible Guest aka Contratiempo is a Spanish thriller movie, directed by Oriol Paulo. Oriol Paulo, within the span of two films he carved himself a space in Spanish movie industry. One who watched his previous work, El Cuerpo aka The Body (2013) will definitely make a moviebuff to watch this movie. This movie is produced by Warner Bros Pictures.

Plot:
Adrian Dorian is a married, young successful businessman whose currently been the prime accused for the murder of his lover, Laura Vidal. To prove his innocence, his lawyer arranges a meeting with the defense attorney, Mrs. Virginia Goodman. Adrian speak out the real facts to Virginia.

Performance:
* Mario Casas as Adrian Dorian did a fine job. His controlled acting and less expressions were the major factor for the role Adrian as his expression less at crucial moments made the next scenes unpredictable.
* Ana Wagener as Virginia Goodman did her best in this movie. Her interrogation with Adrian and the twists were good.
* Barbara Lennie who played as Laura Vidal did justice to her role. She did the change of her character's emotion well.
* Jose Coronado as Tomas Garrido did his part well. His acting as a father who seeks justice for the death of his son did so well without any dramatic errors.

Technical Aspects:
* Director Oriol Paulo did the script for this film too. The major asset of this movie was well-executed story and screenplay. Even though the movie begins in a slower pace, the director didn't made it dramatic or boring. He executed the pace of the movie well. At a juncture, when the script gains the attention of the viewer, it then engages every spectator.
* DoP by Xavi Jimenez is the next major asset of the movie. He shot each a ണ്ഡ every frame as according to the demand of the script and his each frame was lively shot.
* Editing by Jaume Marti did a fine job in this movie. Music by Fernando Velazquez has worked well. There were minimal background scores used in this movie because the movie demands so.
* Other departments like Sound Designing, Production Designing, VFX, etc. were fine.

Final Word: Watch this movie if you wish to a watch a fine thriller. Your valuable time will be not wasted. And watch it with subtitles for those who doesn't know Spanish.
