Thaana Serndhaa Koottam (translation: Group formed by its own) is a 2018 Tamil heist comedy thriller directed by Vignesh ShivN and produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja under the production of Studio Green. It starred Suriya, Keerthy Suresh and Ramya Krishnan in lead roles. This movie is based on 2013 Akshay Kumar starred Hindi film, Special 26 and is dubbed in Telugu as 'GANG'.

Plot:
When Iniyan (Suriya) gets rejected by CBI, he decided to form a team, poses as CBI and organises raids to rob all the illegal money of politicians.

Performance:

* Suriya as Iniyan is the powerhouse of the entire film. He was well-utilised in each and every element and his energetic performance was the major plus of this film. Ayan was the last film he was well-utilised in every emotion. The director just changed him as an angry young man, a common man from a sophisticated man in his few recent films.

* Ramya Krishnan as Azhagu Meena/Jhansi Rani was the next attraction of this film. She just transformed completely after 'Bahubali' and did a good job.

* Keerthy Suresh as Madhu had limited space and she did apt performance in this film.

* Other actors did their part well in the film.

Technical Aspects:

* Written and Directed by Vignesh ShivN. His direction was good and was standout after his previous venture Naanum Rowdydhaan but his writing wasn't that refreshing. Even though the basic premise of the film is from Special 26, he recreated and added few elements to make an out-and-out commercial entertainer and he almost succeeded in it. Dialogues were impressive and catchy but the screenplay flattered a bit but gave some memorable scenes for the fans as well as for the family audiences as well. He could have concentrated a bit and could avoided few scenes.

* DoP by Dinesh Krishnan did a great job in capturing the beauty of the film. The title track and 'Sodakku' was captured well. There were some scenes which he shot well and showed his own signature as a cinematographer.

* Production Designed by DRK Kiran was pretty awesome. The perfect sets of '80s period was one of the best of this film.

* Editing by Sreekar Prasad did a good job in editing as well. His cuts and transition did gave perfection to the film.

* Music by Anirudh did his one of the best. 'Sodakku' and 'Enge Endru Povathu' was the standout among other songs in the album. Rest of the songs do suited well for the film. He made an impressive background scores and made the film more refreshing.

Final Verdict:
TSK is a full fledged festive film which can be enjoyed by any age group and it won't disappoint you as an entertainer. No over expectations.
