Black Panther is a 2018 Hollywood superhero movie directed by Ryan Coogler of 'Creed' fame starred Chadwick Boseman as the titular character. Based on the characters created by Marvel Comics, the film is produced by Marvel Studios themselves.
Plot:
T'Challa aka Black Panther, when he crowned as the King of Wakanda, he faces consequences that would tarnish Wakanda and the world itself. How Black Panther saves it follows the rest of the story.
Performance:
* Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa aka Black Panther did a great job as the titular role. His subtle performance did give an impact on his role.
* Michael B. Jordan as Erik Stevens aka Killmonger needs a special mention definitely. His portrayal of emotions and dialogues will create an impact on viewers.
* Other actors like Lupita Nyong'o and Martin Freeman (Sherlock fame) did their roles well.
Technical Aspects:
* Directed by Ryan Coogler did finest job in the whole movie. The matured way of direction keeps the viewers glued into Black Panther and the world of Wakanda.
* Written by Joe Robert Cole and the director Ryan Coogler himself worked good. The story was pretty different from recent Marvel movies and that element kept the movie much different from other superhero movies. The narration of the story did gave a fresh look for the movie.
* Music by Ludwig Göransson was the major plus of this movie that made the viewers to feel the world of Wakanda.
* DoP by Rachel Morrison did a great job in capturing the beauty of Wakanda especially it gave an impact especially watching on 3D so watch it only in 3D because it worths.
* Edited by Michael P. Shawver and Claudia Castello was fine. The cuts and transitions was good but could have been better.
Final Verdict: Black Panther is definitely a gamechanger and fresh entertainer than other Marvel Movies. One of the best.

ReplyDeleteI was expecting more than a 3. Marvel was brave enough to give one of it's lesser characters a movie, but considering all the vibranium science that is incorporated into the movie , it's fair to say this movie was inevitable. Great work on the review
ReplyDeleteThe movie is quite different and as you said it was a brave move from Marvel but the story pattern should have been improved a bit more.
